How to use the image size guide
- Search or filter. Type a word such as story, banner or 1080 in Search sizes, or pick a platform from the list.
- Read the card. Each size shows its name, width × height in pixels, aspect ratio and a drawing of its shape. Profile pictures are marked Shown as a circle.
- Copy the size with Copy size if you're working in another app.
- Press Resize to this size to open the Image Resizer, then enter the width and height from the card.

Aspect ratios explained
The aspect ratio is the shape of an image: width compared with height. It matters more than the exact pixel count, because platforms scale images up or down but crop anything that doesn't match the shape they expect. 1:1 is square. 4:5 and 3:4 are portrait shapes that take up more of the screen in a feed. 9:16 is the full-screen vertical shape used by stories, reels, Shorts, TikTok and WhatsApp status. 16:9 is the widescreen shape of YouTube thumbnails and most videos. 1.91:1 is the wide shape used for link previews on Facebook and LinkedIn.
If your image has the right shape but more pixels, it will simply be scaled down. If it has fewer pixels than recommended, it may look soft, so start with the largest image you have.
