How to use the hashtag generator
- Type your keywords or topic in the Keywords or topic box. Separate phrases with commas or new lines, for example: street food, biryani, weekend plans.
- Add a location or brand if you want tags for them. Both are optional.
- Pick a style and the combinations switch. Choose CamelCase or lowercase, and leave Add combinations on for joined tags.
- Choose your platform – Instagram, TikTok, X or LinkedIn. The recommended number of tags is selected for you.
- Tap hashtags to add or remove them, then press the copy button to copy the selected set, ready to paste.
Features
- Hashtags from your own words – every phrase becomes a tag, in CamelCase or lowercase.
- Location and brand tags, plus combined tags such as location + keyword.
- Useful single words pulled out of longer phrases, skipping filler words like "the" and "and".
- No duplicates – tags that differ only in capital letters are merged, because platforms treat them as one.
- Platform-aware counts – up to 30 for Instagram, 10 for TikTok and LinkedIn, 5 for X, with a sensible number pre-selected.
- Tap to choose, with quick buttons for the recommended set, all tags or none.
- Works in any language, including Urdu and other right-to-left scripts.
What this tool doesn't do
It doesn't pretend to know what's trending. Tools that promise "the best hashtags right now" usually recycle the same huge, crowded tags for everyone, which rarely help a post get found. This generator focuses on tags that describe your post accurately, which is what platforms themselves recommend. Before you use a tag for a campaign, search for it on the platform to see what kind of posts already use it.
Why use Fileora's hashtag generator
It's quick, honest and private. You get a tidy set of hashtags built from what your post is actually about, formatted consistently and trimmed to a sensible number for the platform. There are no sign-ups and no ads between you and your tags, and everything runs in your browser.
Putting your hashtags to work
- Write the caption first. The Instagram Caption Generator suggests captions by topic and tone, with a few matching hashtags.
- Check the length on X. Hashtags use characters too, and the Twitter/X Character Counter shows how much room they leave.
- Get the image right. The Social Media Image Size Guide lists the recommended sizes for posts, stories and banners.
- Place tags where they read naturally. A couple of tags inside the sentence often read better than a block at the end.
