How to organize a PDF
- Add your PDF. Drop the file onto the box above or tap to choose it. Thumbnails of every page load one after another, so long documents appear gradually.
- Put pages in order. Drag a page to a new position, or use the arrow buttons under a thumbnail to move it one step earlier or later.
- Fix orientation. Use the rotate buttons on any page that is sideways or upside down. The thumbnail turns so you can check it.
- Remove what you don't need. Tap the bin button under a page to mark it as removed. Tap the undo button to bring it back.
- Save and download. The summary shows how many pages will be kept. Press Save PDF, then download your organized copy.

Why use Fileora to organize PDFs
Page order problems usually come from scanning. Feed a double-sided document through a single-sided scanner and the pages arrive out of sequence. Photograph a contract with your phone and one page ends up sideways. Receive an application pack and the cover sheet is somewhere in the middle. Fixing these in a desktop editor often means paying for software you rarely use.
Fileora gives you the three edits you need most, reorder, rotate and remove, on one screen. The PDF is processed by your browser and is not uploaded, which matters when the document holds personal details, signatures or financial figures. There is no sign-up, no watermark on the result and no limit on how many documents you tidy. It works on phones and tablets as well as computers.
When the pages are in order, you can add page numbers so readers can find their way around, or split the PDF if it really should be two separate documents.
Tips for reordering long documents
For documents with many pages, fix rotation first. Pages that are the right way up are much easier to recognise in the thumbnail grid, which makes reordering quicker. Then work from the front: get the first few pages right and move on, rather than jumping around the whole document.
If you scanned a double-sided original as two batches, fronts then backs, the backs will usually sit in the second half of the file in reverse order. Move them in one at a time, placing each back page after its front page. The page number shown under each thumbnail is its position in the original file, which helps you keep track of where each page came from.
When you press Save PDF, the pages are written in exactly the order shown in the grid, with any removed pages left out. Your original file stays unchanged on your device, so you can always add it again and try a different arrangement.
If you only need to remove pages or only need to rotate them, the dedicated delete pages and rotate PDF tools offer a simpler screen for that single job.
