Tips for sharp results at 50KB
Crop before you compress. Every pixel of background uses part of your 50KB. Cropping the image to the paper edges or to head and shoulders is the single biggest improvement you can make.
Prefer JPG for photos and scans. PNG files are lossless and rarely fit into 50KB without heavy shrinking; choosing JPG in Save as gives the compressor room to keep detail.
